Maine Huts & Trails: Hiking

Maine Huts & Trails is a network of 80 miles of trails connecting four backcountry eco-lodges. Hike hut-to-hut, or strike out to one of the many 4,000' peaks in the area. Hikers can use the trails and visit the huts at no charge all year. Hiking within the Maine Huts & Trails network is all easy to moderate, with all trails below the treeline. More ambitious trails can be accessed from Stratton Brook Hut, and many adventurers use this hut as base camp for ascents into the surrounding mountain range.
