Western Maine Garden Tour

August 1 @ 9:30 am - 4:30 pm
$40

Celebrate the height of Maine’s gardening season and spend the first day of August immersed in the beauty of nine distinctive gardens throughout Paris, Norway, and Historic Paris Hill. From heritage plantings and mature trees to vibrant seasonal displays, container gardens, woodland landscapes, and pollinator-friendly spaces, each garden offers its own unique expression of creativity and care.

Wander on brick pathways through stone-walled cottage gardens, explore historic farmsteads with centuries-old trees and restored structures, and experience lush woodland settings filled with shade-loving perennials and expansive hosta collections. Bold annuals, tropical plantings, and evolving summer color add contrast and energy throughout the tour.

Together, these gardens showcase the extraordinary range of Western Maine’s garden landscape. Enjoy this rare opportunity to visit private gardens not normally open to the public while supporting McLaughlin Garden and Homestead.

Admission to the tour is $40 per person: register in advance HERE. We will welcome tour goers at the McLaughlin Garden and Homestead beginning at 9:30 AM on August 1st for all to begin their leisurely self-guided tour day of nine distinctive gardens in Western Maine.
